.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 71-55 <br />PAGE 2 <br />Section 4. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons <br />rate towards the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Crass and Medical Mutual <br />Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contract 53YR and 57 ZK, for all secretarial <br />and clerical employees of the Administration Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />That for the Director of Public Service and the Administrative <br />Assistant, The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person rate, <br />of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Administration <br />Department, and in the event any full time employee of the Administration Departnre~t <br />is married or is the head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall cantribute an <br />additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a family hospitalization plan <br />with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, both single persons hospitalization and family <br />hospitalization plans shall be established by Contracts 53YK and 57ZK,eleeted officials <br />excluded. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the Administration Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Mayer in <br />emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay; New Year`s Day; Memorial Day; <br />Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee s <br />birthday. <br />Section 6. That all full time employees of the Administration Department <br />shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full tine service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7} years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 7. That the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Adminis- <br />tration Department and salaries to be paid, which shall not in any way be construed <br />as limiting the authority of the Mayor for the City of North Olmsted, as established <br />by the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Finance Director immediately upon its passage in order that <br />the Director of Finance can pay the compensation, as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 9. That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or <br />parts of resolutions, and especially Ordinance No. 70-53, enacted March 3, 1970, <br />inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed with the <br />effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 10. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and wel- <br />fare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate necessity of adjusting <br />compensation for City employees so as to make such compensation co nsurate with <br />the requirement of the various jobs.
