The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons rate towards the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Crass and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contract 53YR and 57 ZK, for all secretarial and clerical employees of the Administration Department of the City of North Olmsted. That for the Director of Public Service and the Administrative Assistant, The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Administration Department, and in the event any full time employee of the Administration Departnre~t is married or is the head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall cantribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, both single persons hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be established by Contracts 53YK and 57ZK,eleeted officials excluded. Section 5. That all full time employees of the Administration Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Mayer in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay; New Year`s Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee s birthday. Section 6. That all full time employees of the Administration Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full tine service. Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7} years full time service. Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. Section 7. That the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Adminis- tration Department and salaries to be paid, which shall not in any way be construed as limiting the authority of the Mayor for the City of North Olmsted, as established by the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Finance Director immediately upon its passage in order that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation, as hereinabove set forth. Section 9. That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, and especially Ordinance No. 70-53, enacted March 3, 1970, inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 10. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and wel- fare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate necessity of adjusting compensation for City employees so as to make such compensation co nsurate with the requirement of the various jobs.
