TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES <br />OF THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, <br />AND REPEALING OR13~NANCE NO. 70--173, EN- <br />ACTED NOVEIvI$ER 4, 1970 , AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY . <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Committee has <br />recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the maintenance employees of the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line ;and - <br />WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the compensation <br />for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line .~ <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />Section 1. That retroactive to March 1, 1971 employees holding the following <br />positions in the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the <br />salaries and wages as hereinafter determined <br />General Manager $10, 700.00 to $12, 840.00 Annually <br />Superintendent $ 9 , 630.00 to $ll, 770.00 Annually <br />Supervisor of Operations $ 8, 560.00 to $I0, 700.00 Annually <br />Supervisor of Maintenance $ 8,560.00 to $10, 700.00 Annually <br />Equipment Mechanic $ 3.48 to $ 4.3® Annually 1 <br />Equipment Servicemen $ 2.94 to $ 3.50` Per Hour <br />Extra Labor $ I. 61 to $ 3.00 Per Hour <br />Secretary $ 4, 280.00 to $ 5, 350.00 Annually <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. <br />A. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees and retroactive <br />to September 1, 1968, all full time employees of the North Olms ted Municipal Bus Line <br />having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of <br />said bus line shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary until they <br />have completed their tenth (10) year of continuous full time service, after com- <br />pleting their tenth (10) year and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15) year of <br />continuous f°dl.l time service they shall be paid 4 % of their base annual salary, after <br />completion of their fifteenth (15) year and prior to completion of their twentieth (20 ) <br />year of continuous full time service they shall be paid 5% of their base annual salary, <br />after completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service and there- <br />after they shall be paid 6% of th~i:r base annual salary. These payment. shall be <br />longevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted , Ohio . <br />B. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of longevity increments hereinabvfre set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time <br />services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments <br />and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other <br />benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employee in the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line . <br />B - 1. The secretariat and clerical help of the Municipal Bus Line <br />' of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of <br />$25.00. This longevity increment shalt be payable ever and above any annual <br />salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at <br />the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has <br />been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />
