That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that all full <br />time employees of the Fire Department having completed five (5) years of full time <br />continuous service as employees of said department shall be paid an additional 3% <br />of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of the. tenth (10) year of <br />continuous full time service, alter which such employee shall receive 4% of their base <br />annual salary, thereafter until. the completion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous <br />full time service, and thereafter 5°~ of their base annual salary until the completion <br />of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service, and during each year of <br />full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as <br />longevity increments. <br />C. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-.time <br />services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity incre- <br />ments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any <br />other benefits which may be due for part-time service as employees in the Safety <br />Department. <br />D. In addition to the regular base salary p~,us increments and other <br />wage increases, all regular employees of the Fire Department, including officers <br />shall on their original appointment and during the first calendar year of their ap- <br />pointment receive $300.00 clothing allowance, and shall during each calendar <br />year thereafter receive a clothing allowance of $300.00 to be determined and dis- <br />bursed by and with the approval of the Fire Chief of the Department. <br />E. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons rate <br />towards the purchase of hospitalization with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual hospital- <br />ization Plans, as set forth in Contracts 53YK and 57ZK, for all secretarial and clerical <br />employees of the Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted. <br />The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single persons <br />rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the .Fire department, <br />and in the event any full time employee of the Fire Department is married or is the <br />head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an addi 1 sum of <br />$100.00 per year towards the cost of the family hospitalization plan with Blue Cta~rss <br />and Medical Mutual, both single persons hospitalization and family hospitalizat~.on <br />plans shall be established by Contracts Sd;YK and 57ZK. <br />F. That all full time employees of the hire Department shall be entitled <br />to certain holidays during the year and shall not be required to work on those holidays, <br />unless scheduled to work by the Fire Chief. In the event the employee works on one <br />of the following holidays, the employee shall receive another day off from work to <br />replace the holiday he worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows :New Year's <br />Day ;Memorial Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas <br />Day ;the employee's birthday; and the employee's personal use day. <br />G. That. all full time employees of the Fire. Department shall be entitled <br />to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 3. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance , and <br />especially Ordinance No. 70-114, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this <br />Ordinance:. <br /> <br />
