rJ~. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 71 - 49 PAGE 2 <br />Section 3. The secretarial and clerical help of the Finance Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of <br />$25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual <br />salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be <br />at the reate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has <br />been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Finance Department shall <br />receive the following ho]idays off, unless requested to work by the Director of <br />Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay: New Year's Days; <br />Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; <br />and the employee's birthday. <br />Section 5. The City of North Olmsted shall contribute a single persons <br />rate towards the purchase of hospitalization with the Blue Cross and Medical <br />Mutual Hospitalization Plans, as set forth in Contract 53 YK and 57ZK, for all <br />secretarial and clerical employees of the Finance Department of the City of <br />North Olmsted. <br />That for the Income Tax Division Administrator, the City <br />of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single persons rate, of the <br />hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Finance <br />Department, and in the event any full time employee of the Finance Department <br />is married or is the head of the family the City of North Olmsted shall <br />contribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a <br />family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, both single <br />persons hospitalization and family hospitalization plans shall be established <br />by Contracts 53 YK and 57ZK, and excluding elected officials. <br />Section 6. That all full time employees of the Finance Department shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 7. That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but only in the event <br />the Director of Finance is absent from the City or on vacation. <br />Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a <br />copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its <br />passage. <br />Section 9. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of Ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this <br />Ordinance are hereby repealed, especially Ordinance No. 70-50, enacted <br />March 3, 1970, with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 10. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate necessity of <br />adjusting compensation for City employees so as to make such compensation <br />commensurate with the requirement of the various jobs. Wherefore, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be inforce immediately upon its passage, <br />otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ~~ .?0.ll9~ <br />..--- <br />ATTEST: ~ <br />Nora T.
