Any of the above, with the exception of the School Guards and <br />Auxiliary Police, shall while on duty as Plain Clothes Detective be <br />paid additional compensation at the rate of $300.00 annually for <br />all time spent as Plain Clothes Detectives or as Juvenile Officers. <br />B. Full time employees of the Police Department having completed <br />five (5) years of full time continuous service, as employees of said <br />department, shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, <br />thereafter until completion of the tenth (10) year of full time <br />oontinuous service, after which such employees shall receive 4% of <br />their base annual salary, thereafter until the completion of their <br />fifteenth (15) year of full time continuous service, and thereafter <br />5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the <br />twentieth (20) year of full time continuous service, and during each <br />year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their <br />base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />C. The Secretarial or Clerical help of the Police Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, <br />the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over <br />and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary <br />or clerical help and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and <br />every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually <br />employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />D. In computingq length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is only <br />for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion <br />for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other <br />benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees <br />in the Safety Department. <br />E. In addition to the regular base salary, plus increments <br />and other wage increases, all regular employees of the Police Depart- <br />ment, including officers shall on their original appointment and <br />during the first calendar year of their appointment receive $300.00 <br />clothing allowance, and shall during each calendar year thereafter <br />receive a clothing allowance of $200.00 to be determined and disbursed <br />by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department. <br />F. For each •fu11 time member of the Police Department (excluding <br />Auxiliary Police and School Guards) the City of North Olmsted shall <br />pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per month toward the <br />cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Muhl premiums of <br />said members of the Police Force, as established by Contract 52YS <br />effective the 22nd day of May, 1965. <br />G. That all full time employees of the Police Department shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br />~~,.... <br />
