:~ <br />~.. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED Ordinance No. 70- ~ ~ Page 3 <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full tip service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service <br />Section 3. That the employees of the Police Department of the City <br />of North Olmsted be reimbursed, not to exceed $3.00 per day, for per <br />diem expenses while in attendance at the Police Training School estab- <br />lished by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners at Western Reserve University <br />which school is for a two (2) week period with ten (SO) days class <br />attendance. <br />Section 4. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provi- <br />sions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 70-25, are hereby <br />repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 5. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed <br />to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order <br />that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove <br />set forth, and a copy to the Chief of Police. <br />Section 6. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City by virtue of the <br />fact that this Ordinance is necessary to immediately establish for <br />the Police Department and for the members of Council, the Organizational <br />Chart and the pay salaries for the Police Department. WHEREFORE, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />/}~ <br />Nora T.
