That the employees of the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted be reimbursed, not to exceed $3.00 per day, for per diem expenses while in attendance at the Police Training School estab- lished by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners at Western Reserve University which school is for a two (2) week period with ten (SO) days class attendance. Section 4. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provi- sions of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 70-25, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. Section 5. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth, and a copy to the Chief of Police. Section 6. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that this Ordinance is necessary to immediately establish for the Police Department and for the members of Council, the Organizational Chart and the pay salaries for the Police Department. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. PASSED: ATTEST: /}~ Nora T.
