~ 4 <br />~ 1R <br />d ~ <br />~ 7 ~ <br />Revised <br />v:. ;: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70-74 PAGE 3 <br />731.09 OPERATORS LICENSE -ISSUANCE, RENEWAL continued <br />one (1) year from January 1 of the year that it is issued, and shall expire on <br />December 31 next following the date of issuance, Such license shall be renewed <br />each year thereafter, for a like period, upon the payment of a license fee of <br />Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00 ) . <br />731.10 CERTIFICATE REQUIRED <br />No individual, partnership, or corporation shall be permitted to <br />conduct the business of moving picture exhibitions, as herein described, until <br />he has applied for and procured from the Building Commissioner a certificate that <br />the premises wherein the exhibitions are to be given and the apparatus used in <br />connection therewith are in compliance with the provisions of this Chapter and <br />such other sections of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. <br />731.11 REVOCATION <br />The Building Commissioner shall have authority and it shall be <br />his duty, to revoke the license issued to any person, firm, or corporation for <br />conducting or maintaining picture machine exhibitions when he shall be satisfied <br />that such licensee has violated any of the provisions of this Chapter or such other <br />sections of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted relating thereto ; <br />provided, however, that before revoking said license opportunity shall be given <br />to such licensee to correct such violation. <br />731.99 PENALTY <br />Any person or organization violating any of the provisions of this <br />Chapter shall be fined not to exceed the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00 ) . <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the North Olmsted Police Department and to the North Olmsted <br />Building Commissioner with instructions to prepare the necessary permits and <br />licenses set forth in Chapter 731 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure by virtue of the fact that these regulations are necessary for the prey <br />servations of the public peace, safety, health and welfare. WHEREFORE, this <br />Ordinance shall be in effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force at the earliest period allowed <br />by law . <br />PASSED: ~,~.~:-,[~-sL- <br />ATTEST: <br />/, ~./ ~Gc...C-C~.. <br />Nora T.
