x Revised <br />.~ _ - ~ <br />,. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70-74 PAGE 2 <br />731.03 COMPLIANCE WITH CODE continued <br />Chapter and such other provisions of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North <br />Olmsted relating to the installation and construction of a booth for the enclosing <br />of a picture machine, as well as, the requirements relating to the contents, venti- <br />lation, doors, electrical installations and signs thereof together with such require- <br />ments relating to the location, construction and other safety regulations for <br />theatres, exhibitions or meeting halls, auditoriums or other places of amusement. <br />731.04 PICTURE MACHINES -USE <br />All picture machines within which combustible film is used shall <br />be equipped with incombustible magazines for receiving and delivering the films <br />during the operation of the machine. A shutter must be provided and placed in <br />front of the condenser of the machine, so arranged that it can be instantly closed <br />by the operator. <br />731.05 FILMS WITHIN THE BOOTH <br />Films not in the picture machine, within the booth enclosing the <br />machine, shall be kept in metal boxes with tight fitting covers. <br />731.06 HOT CARBONS <br />Hot carbons taken from the lamps used in the picture machines shall <br />be deposited in a metal receptacle provided in the booth for such purposes. <br />731.07 LICENSED OPERATORS <br />Licensed picture machine operators only shall be employed or <br />permitted to operate any picture machine as defined in Section 731.02 hereof, <br />unless exhibited by and incidental to the purpose of any charitable, re~~tgious, <br />benevolent, civics fraternal or educational institution, public or private. <br />731.08 OPERATORS LICENSE <br />Application for a license shall be upon the form issued by the <br />Building Commissioner. Such application shall be granted if the Commissioner <br />finds that the applicant is qualified to perform the work for which the application <br />is sought . <br />Evidence that the applicant is currently licensed by the City of <br />Cleveland, or other city, or county with a qualified examination, shall be sufficient <br />evidence of qualification so as to authorize the issuance of a license. <br />Evidence of repeated violations of this Building Code or other <br />ordinances shall be sufficient evidence to disqualify the applicant from receiving <br />the license. <br />731.09 OPERATORS LICENSE -ISSUANCE, RENEWAL <br />Upon application, any such license required under this Chapter, <br />shall be issued to the applicant by the Building Commissioner, upon payment by <br />the applicant of a license fee of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00 ) , and the furnishing <br />of a bond as hereinafter provided.
