ti~ <br /> w <br />BY <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 70-,Z 7 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART FOR THE ADMINISTRATION TO BE HEADED <br />BY THE MAYOR, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, <br />SECTION T THROUGH 5, INCLUSIVE, OF THE <br />CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND <br />IN ADDITION THERETO, PROVIDING POSITIONS <br />FOR EMPLOYEES OF THIS DEPARTMENT, AND <br />REPEALING ORDINACE NO. 69-20, AND DE- <br />CLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article III, Section <br />I through 5, inclusive, provided that the administrative functions of the City shall <br />be headed by the Mayor ; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in <br />the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identification , as to duties performed <br />and remuneration received ;and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and assistants <br />to carry out the responsibilities: of the Administration. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, as provided <br />for in Article III, Section I through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of <br />North Olmsted is to headed by the Mayor, and shall consist of the Mayar, one (1 ) <br />Directof of Public Service, one (1) Admir~strative Assistant, one (1) Building <br />Commissioner, one (1) Police Chief, one ~ 1) Fire Chief, one (1) Secretary to <br />the Mayor, one (1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service, and other part - <br />time clerical help as determined by the Mayor. <br />Section 2. That retoactive to January 1, 1970, the remuneration of the <br />employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: <br />Mayor <br />Director of Public Service <br />Administrative Assistant <br />Secretary to the Mayor <br />Secretary to the Director <br />of Public Service <br />Clerical and Secretarial <br />Help <br />$17, 000.00 .Annually <br />$12,000.00 to $16,000.0.0 Annually <br />$ 9, 000.00 to $11, 000.00 Annually <br />$ 4, 800.00 to $ 6, 000.00 Annually <br />$ 4 , 600.00 to $ 5 , 800.00 Annually <br />$ 1.35 to $ 2.50 per hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance Semi-monthly. <br />Sect#on 3. The secretarial of clerical help of the Administration Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment , the sum of <br />$25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual <br />salary or hourlysalary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the <br />rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been <br />continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />
