-~„'-, <br />ti ~ <br />_:~ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />~. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 70-,L~ PAGE 2 <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Administration Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Mayor in <br />emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay; New Year's Day ;Memorial Day ; <br />Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day, and the <br />employee's birthday. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the Administration Department <br />shall be entitled to an annual vacation fn accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) years full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 6. That the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Adminis- <br />tration Department and salaries to be paid, which shall not in any way be con- <br />strued as limiting the authority of the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted as <br />established by the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 7. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Finance Director immediately upan its passage in order <br />that the Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 8. That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or <br />parts of resolutions, and especially Ordinance No. 69-20, inconsistent with the <br />provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective date of this <br />Ordinance . <br />Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that it is necessary to establish the pay <br />scale of the Administration Department for the benefit of the Finance Department <br />of the City of North Olmsted. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed <br />by law . <br />PASSED: <br />ATTES <br />y~ <br />Nora T.
