A. Any of the above, with the exception of the School Guards and Auxiliary Police, shall while on duty as Plain Clothes Detective be paid additional com- pensation at the rate of $300.00 annually for all time spent as Plain Clothes Detectives or as Juvenile Officers. B. Full time employees of the Police Department having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of the tenth (10) year of full time continuous service, after which such employees shall receive 4% of their base annual. salary, thereafter until the completion of their fifteenth (15) year of full time continuous service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20) year of full time continuous service, and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6°~ of their base annual salary as longevity increments. C. The Secretarial or Clerical help of the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted. D. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services, but such ifanitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity incre- ments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in the Safety Department. E. In addition to the regular base salary, plusincrements and other wage increases, all regular employees of the Police Department, including officers shall on their original appointment and during the first calendar year of their appointment receive $300.00 clothing allowance, and shall during each calendar year thereafter receive a clothing allowance of $200.00 to be determined and dis- bursed by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department. F. For each full time member of the Police Department (excluding Auxiliary Police and School Guards) the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premiums of said members of the Police Force, as established by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd day of May, 1965.
