Any of the above, with the exception of the School Guards and Auxiliary <br />Police, shall while on duty as Plain Clothes Detective be paid additional com- <br />pensation at the rate of $300.00 annually for all time spent as Plain Clothes <br />Detectives or as Juvenile Officers. <br />B. Full time employees of the Police Department having completed five <br />(5) years of full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall <br />be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion <br />of the tenth (10) year of full time continuous service, after which such employees <br />shall receive 4% of their base annual. salary, thereafter until the completion of <br />their fifteenth (15) year of full time continuous service, and thereafter 5% of <br />their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20) year of <br />full time continuous service, and during each year of full time service thereafter <br />they shall receive 6°~ of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />C. The Secretarial or Clerical help of the Police Department of the City <br />of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. <br />This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or <br />hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the rate of <br />$25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually <br />employed by the City of North Olmsted. <br />D. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of <br />longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time <br />services, but such ifanitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity incre- <br />ments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of <br />any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in <br />the Safety Department. <br />E. In addition to the regular base salary, plusincrements and other wage <br />increases, all regular employees of the Police Department, including officers <br />shall on their original appointment and during the first calendar year of their <br />appointment receive $300.00 clothing allowance, and shall during each calendar <br />year thereafter receive a clothing allowance of $200.00 to be determined and dis- <br />bursed by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department. <br />F. For each full time member of the Police Department (excluding Auxiliary <br />Police and School Guards) the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to <br />a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization <br />and Medical Mutual premiums of said members of the Police Force, as established <br />by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd day of May, 1965. <br />
