`~ 4~ ~ ~ ~, CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 70-rZ BY AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART OF THE FIR£ DEPARTMENT, SETTING FORTH THE COMPLEMENT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF THE 'MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WHILE ON DUTY FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND REPEALING ORDI- NANCE NO. 69-57, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Safety Committee of Council has advised Council the need for additional Firemen to adequately serve the City of North Olmsted ;and WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of Council has advised Council that it is necessary to increase the salaries and compensations of the members of the Fire Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio ; Section 1. That the Organizational Chart for the Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted (Chapter 141, Section 141.02 , " Composition and Classi- fication " of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinance) shall read as follows: A. The Organizational Chart for the Fire Department and the personnel set forth in the Organizational Chart shall consist of, the Chief of Fire who shall be in charge of the entire Fire Department. B. The Fire Chief shall also be in charge of the General Duty Uniform Roster, which shall consist of, One (1) Assistant Fire Chief, (Fire Prevention Bureau) ;Three (3) Captains ;Four (4) Lieutenants ;Twenty-Five (25) Fire- men. C. The Fire Department as constituted herein shall be classified by the Director of Safety, as required by law. Section 2. That effective February 1, 1970, and henceforth, the base salaries of the members of the Fire Department are hereby fixed and determined to be as follows: Fire Chief Assistant Fire Chief (Fire Prevention Bureau ) Captain Fire Lieutenant Firemen for First Year Firemen for Second Year Firemen after Second Year Part-Time Firemen Full Time Firemen working for the ~,lity of North Olmsted during off duty hours $11, 800.00 Annually $10, 670.00 Annually $10 ,100.00 Annually $ 9, 650.00 Annually $ 7, 488.00 Annually $ 8, 000.00 Annually $ 9, 000.00 Annually $ 1.75 Per Hour $ 3.20 Per~iour which salaries shall be payable by the Director ofFinance Semi-Monthly.
