WHEREAS, the substantial development and improvement of Property in the area of the City of l~rth Olmsted in the vicinity of Brookpark Road - Lorain Road intersection has caused a marked increase in traffic conges- tion in such area, thereby requiring, in the ~udgetent of this Council, that iamiediate provision be made for the opening as a public street of an extension of Brookpark Road as hereinafter described to promote the free floe of traffic, the effective fighting of fixes and the expeditious s~re- ment of the police force and further creating an imsediate need for im- provennent of such extension of Brookpark Road by grading, draining, cart- ing and paving; and WH~EAS, the Planning Cosmission of this City at a ffieeting du]y called and held on Au st 28 , 1973 has recoamended to this Council that such extension v zno ~`r "~ d be opened for public use, and, by reason of the foregoing, it is essential that this Council provide by oxdi- nance for such opening as a public impxovement of the City of north Olassted; NCyFT, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIlQED by the Council of the City of forth Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1. That this Council hereby approved the reco~aendation of the Planning Cosmi.ss3.on of the City hereinbefore referred to anal deter- mines that it is necessary to open, and that there shall be opened, as a public street and for public use an extension of Brookpark Road described generally as extending Trait the present easterly terminus of the Brookpark Road Extension (84 feet wide) as recorded on a dedication plat in Volume 210, Page 72 of Cuyahoga County Map Records, thence continuing easterly and southerly approximately 472 feet to Lorain Road, and more particularly described as follows: Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and known as being part of Original Dover Township, Lot No. 6 and part of Original Olmsted Township, Lot No. 22, Tract No. 6 and bounded and described as follows: Comatencing in the intersection of the center line of Broolepark Road (160 feet wide) with the center line of Lorain Road (80 feet wide); Thence South 68° 13' 23" West a distance of 88.64 feet to an iron pin at the point of intersection of a curve connecting the old center line with the Herr center line of Lorain Road; Thence South 65° 59' 43" West along a tangent a distance of 73.53 feet to the place of beginning; Thence North 13° 09' 46" West slang the Westerly line of a parcel of land conveyed to The Marathon Finance Company by deed as recorded in Volume 10313, Page 405 of Cuyahoga County Deed Records a distance of 200.72 feet to a point; Thence South 68° 00' 33" West along the prolongation of Northerly line of said The Marathon Finance Company parcel a distance of 32.98 feet to a point of curvature; Thence 372.63 feet along the arc of a curve deflecting to the left and having a radius of 4~0.OO feet, a chord distance of 361.59 feet that bears North 5$° 33' 18" West
