;, BY: CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 73- P~ AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE TO HE HEADED BY THE MAYOR, AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, SECTION I THROUGH 5, INCLLTRIVE, CaF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMS""~i7, ANTI~IN ADI~TION THERETO, PROVIDING POSITIOP~I'S FOR EMPLOYEES OF THIS DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 72-193, ENACTED DECEMBER 5, 1972, AND DECLAR[NG AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, provi~ted that the administrative functions of the City shall be headed by the Mayor , as Chief Executive Officer ; and WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identification, as to duties performed and remuneration received ;and WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel:. and assistants to carry out the responsibilities of the Administration. NOW, THE BEFORE., BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio : Section 1. That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted, as provided for in Article III, Section 1 through 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, anal shall consist of the Mayor, One (1 ) Director of Public Service ;One (1) Director of Public Safety ;One (1 ~ Adminis- trative Assistant ;One (1) Building Commissl over ; One (1) City Engineer ; One (1) Fire Chief ;One (1) Secretary to the Mayor ; One (1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service, and other part-time clerical help as determined by the Mayor. Section 2. That retroactive to January 1, 1973, the remuneration of the employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows : Mayor Mayor -Effective January .l, 1974 Director of Publie Service Director of Public Safety Administrative Assistant $17 , 000.00 Annually $21, 000.00 Annually $15, 000.00 to $21, 000.00 Annually $14, 000.00 to $18, 000.00 Annually $ 9, 630.00 to $12, 417.00 Annually which salaries shall be paid bi-weekly by the Director of Finance. The compensation of the City Engineer ; the Building Commissioner ;the Police Chief ;and the Fire Chief shall be set forth in the organizational ordinasee for their various department. .. _.
