<br />CITY OF NORTH OLNS TED ORDINANCE N0.73- ~,~ Page 2 <br />The compensation for the secretary to the Mayor ;the secretary to the <br />Director of Public Service and all other secretarial and clerical help shall be <br />set forth in the organizational ordinance for secretarial and clerical heip. <br />Section 3. That for the Director of Public Service and the Administrative <br />Assistant the City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, single person's <br />rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full time employees of the Admini- <br />stration Department, and in the event any full time employee of the Administration <br />Department is married or is the head of ~dhe family, the City of North Olmsted shall <br />contribute an additional sum of $200.00 per year towards the cost of a family hospi- <br />talization plan with the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual, or with the Kaiser Com- <br />munity Foundation Plan, elected officials excluded. <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Administration Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by the Mayor in <br />emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay :New Year's Day ; Presidents <br />Day ; Memorial Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ;Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas <br />Day and the employee's birthday. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the administration Department <br />shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years foil time service <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service . <br />Section 6. That the purpose of this Ordinance is to establish the Administration <br />Department and the salaries to be paid, which shall not in any way be construed as <br />limiting the authority of the Mayor for the City of North Olmsted, as established by <br />the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 7. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its passage in order <br />that the D irector of Finance can pay the compensation, as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 8. That all ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances or parts <br />of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to theprovisions in this Ordinance, and <br />especially Ordinance No. 72-193, enacted Decr~ber 5, 1972, are hammy repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and welfare of <br />the City by virtue of the fact that the changes herein contained are necessary for <br />the continual growth and operation of the City of North Olmsted. WHEREFORE, <br />this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon .its passage, <br />otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED; ~~„~--~ <br />ATTEST; <br />~~ a. ~;~~ <br />Nora T.
