<br />CITY OF NOE.TH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 73- ~j/~ PAGE 2 <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Engineering <br />Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work <br />by the Mayor in emergencies: New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; <br />Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Presidents` Day and the employee's <br />birthday. <br />Section 5. That all full time employees of the Engineering <br />Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the <br />following schedule: <br />Two (2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) years full time service. <br />Section 6. The City of North Olmsted shall pay the full <br />amount, single persons rate, of the hospitalization cost for unmarried full <br />time employees of the Engineering Department, and in the event any full time <br />employee of the Engineering Department is married or is the head of the family <br />the City of North Olmsted shall contribute an additional sum of $330.00 per <br />year toward the cost of a family hospitalization plan with Blue Cross and Medical <br />Mutual, or with the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. <br />Section 7. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that the <br />Director of Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabove set forth. <br />Section 8. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or <br />parts of ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the <br />provision of this Ordinance, and especially Ordinance No. 72-83, enacted <br />June 6, 1972, are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 9. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact of the immediate <br />necessity of adjusting with the requirements of the various jobs. WHEREFORE, <br />this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, <br />otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED : ~ /~_--- <br />ATTEST: <br />L~ <br />Nora T.
