CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 73- 59 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO THE MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES OF THE NORTH OLMSTED 24UNI- CIPAL BUS LINE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 72-84 ENACTED JUNE 6, 1972. WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee and the Finance Committee have recommended an adjustment in the pay rate of the maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and WHEREAS, Council is desirous of making an adjustment in the com- pensation for maintenance employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1. That retroactive to January 1, 1973 employees hold- ing the following positions in the employ of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be paid the salaries and wages as hereinafter determined: General Manager $ 10,700.00 to $13,546.00 annually Superintendent 9,630.00 to 12,417.00 annually Supervisor of Operations 8,560.00 to 11,362.00 annually Supervisor of Maintenance 8,560.00 to 11,362.00 annually Equipment Mechanic 3.48 to 4.85 per hour Equipment Serviceman 2.94 to 4.10 per hour Extra Labor 1.61 to 3.25 per hour Secretary 4,280.00 to 5,644.00 annually which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. A. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees and retro- active to March 1, 1972, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said bus line shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary until they have completed their tenth (10) year of continuous full time service. After completing their tenth (10) year and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service they shall be paid 4% of their base annual salary, After completion of their fifteenth (15) year and prior to completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service they shall be paid 5,,°0 of their base annual salary. After completion of their twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service and thereafter they shall be paid 6% of their base annual salary. These payments shall be longevity incre- ments and shall be paid and computed by the Finance Department of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. B. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part-tame service shall not depYive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in the Nr3rth Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. B-1. The secretarial and clerical help of the Municipal Bus Line of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help, and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of c~orth Olmsted.
