J•-j.~7~L-GK C~R C'~ WIiEREAS, the Finance Committee of Council has advised Council that it is necessary to increase the salaries and compensations of the members of the Fire Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1. That the Organizational Chart of the Fire Department of the City of North Olmsted (Chapter 141, Section 141.02, "Composition and Classification" of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances) shall read as follows: A. That the Organizational Chart for the Fire Department and the personnel set forth in the Organizational Chart shall consist of the Chief of Fire who shall be in charge of the entire Fire Department. B. The Fire Chief shall also be in charge of the General Duty Uniform Roster, which shall consist of, One (1) Assistant Fire Chief (Fire Prevention Bureau), Three (3) Captains, Seven (7) Lieutenants, Twenty- Four (24) Firemen. C. The Fire Department as constituted herein .shall be classified by the Director of Safety, as required by law. Section 2. That retroactive to January 1, 1973, and henceforth, the base salaries of the members of the Fire Department are hereby fixed and de- termined to be as follows: Fire Chief $16,202.00 Assistant Fire Chief (Fire Prevention Bureau) $14,864.00 Captains $13,637.00 Fire Lieutenants $12,511.00 Firemen for First Year $ 9,611,00 Firemen for Second Year $10,500.00 Firemen after Second Year $11,478.00 Full time Firemen working for the City of North Olmsted during off duty hours $ 3.56 Annually •Annually Annually Annually Annually Annually Annually Per Hour which salaries shall he payable by the Director of Finance bi-weekly. A. Any of the above while assigned to the Fire prevention Bureau shall be paid additional compensation at the rate of $300.00 annually for all time spent while assigned to the Fire Prevention Bureau. Call in pay to be paid at hourly rate calculated by dividing yearly salary by 2080 hours.
