That excluding secretarial and clerical employees, that <br />all full time employees of the Fire Department having completed five (5) <br />years of full time continuous service, as employees of said department, shall <br />be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until comple- <br />tion of the tenth (10) year of continuous full time service, after which such <br />employee shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until the <br />completion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service, and <br />thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until the completion of the twentieth <br />(20) year of continuous full time service, and during each year of full time <br />service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as <br />longevity increments. <br />C. That all full time employees of the Fire Department shall <br />be entitled to certain holidays during the year and shall not be required to <br />work on those certain holidays, unless scheduled to work by the Fire Chief. <br />In the event the employee ~~orks on one of the following holidays, the em- <br />ployee shall receive another day off from work to replace the holiday he <br />worked. The scheduled holidays are as follows: New Year's Day; Presidents <br />Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas <br />nay; the employee's birthday and the employee's personal use day. <br />G. That all full time employees of the Fire Department shall <br />be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance wa_th the following schedule: <br />T~1To (2) weeks vacation after one (l) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (IS) years full time service. <br />Section 3. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolutions, inconsistent herewith to the provisions <br />of this Ordinance and especially Ordinance Dto. 72-1.24, enacted July 18, 1972, <br />are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 4. That the employees of the Fire Department of the City <br />of North Olmsted be reimbursed, not to exceed $3.00 per day for per diem <br />expenses while in attendance of the Firemen's Training School established <br />by the State of Ohio at a place designated by the Fire Chief, which school <br />i.s for a four (4) week period with twenty (20) days of class attendance <br />required. <br />s~.~~.~~ ,.. , .. . <br />.~,.~.,.~., _ ,. r <br />
