That with the exception of secretarial and clerical employees, the <br />City of North Olmsted shall pay the full amount, up to a maximum of $6~0. &4, for the <br />hospitalization insurance cost of all full t3~ne employees of the North Olmsted Police <br />Department with either the Blue Cross and Medical Mutual Hospitalization Plan or <br />the Kaiser Community Health Foundation Plan. This clause providing payment of <br />hospitalization excludes Auxiliary Police and School Guards. <br />H. That all full time employees of the North Olmsted Police Department, <br />excluding secretarial and clerical help, shall be entitled to certain holidays during the <br />year and shall not be required to work on these holidays ,unless scheduled to work by <br />the Chief of Police. In the event the employee works on one of the following holidays, <br />the employee shall receive another day off from work to replace the holiday he worked. <br />The scheduled holidays are as follows :New Year`s Day ; ants Day ; Memorial <br />Day ;Independence Day ;Labor Day ; Thanksgiving Day ; Christmas Day ;the employee's <br />birthday ; and the employee's personal use day, this provision does not apply to <br />Auxil~nty P,bildece or School Guards. <br />I. That all full time employees of the Police Department shall be en- <br />ti~led to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule : <br />Two ~ 2) weeks vacation after one (1) year full time service. <br />Three (3) weeks vacation after seven (7) years full time service. <br />Four (4) weeks vacation after fifteen (15) yearssfull time service. <br />Section 3. That the employees of the PolicdeDepartment of the City of North <br />Olmsted be reimbursed, not to exceed$3.00 per day, for per diem expenses while <br />in attendance at the Police Training School established by the Cuyahoga County <br />Commissionersat Western Reserve UniQersity, which school is for a two (2) week <br />period with ten (10) days class attendance. <br />Section 4. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of resolutions <br />or parts of ordinances , inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance, <br />and especially Ordinance No. 72-104, enacted July 5, 1972, are hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 5. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy of this Ordinance to the Director of Finance in order that the Director of <br />Finance can pay the compensation as hereinabo~e set forth, and a copy of this <br />Ordinance to the Chief of Police. <br />Section 6. ~EREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect aryl be in force <br />at the earliest date permitted by Article N, Section 12 of the Gharter of the City <br />of North Olmsted. <br />PASSED: ~1~`~ <br />t <br />ATTEST: "f ry <br />Nora T.
