Z.,~ ~ 9 <br />WHEREAS, the economic health of the nation is threatened by a <br />downgrading of government participation in science and technology. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio, <br />Section 1. The Council of the City of North Olmsted hereby requests <br />the Ohio Congressman to join with it in urging that the National <br />Aeronautics and Space Administration budget of money, facilities <br />and people for the Lewis Research Center be restored, maintained <br />and expanded as necessary to allow the capabilities of the Lewis <br />Research Center to be utilized to the best advantage of the American <br />people, and that tasks within its capabilities be added to its <br />historical tasks in the fields of aeronautics and astronautics. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to send a <br />certified copy of this Resolution to the Honorable William B. Saxbe <br />and the Honorable Robert .Taft, Jr. , United States Senators <br />and to the Honorable James V. Stanton, the Honorable Louis Stokes, <br />the Honorable Charles A.
