CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 68- lgy PAGE 5 ( b) Each apartment house, rooming house, dormitory and accessory sleeping quatb&r shall be under the direct management of the owner, licensee or his agent or representative. Such person or persons must be of good reputation and character, and shall maintain a reaord which shall include the names of allzJpersons being accommodated ii ;.x ( c) It shall be the duty of the manager of the apartment house, rooming house , dormitory or accessory sleeping quarter : 01) To prohibit the placing or storageobf unsightly material or vehicles of any kind; ( 2) To provide for the regular cleaning, painting, repairing and dis- infecting of all buildings; ( 3) To take such other measures as may be deemed necessary by the Building Commissioner to preserve the health, confort and safety of all persons residing in the apeartanent houses,rooming houses,dormitor}.esror accessory sleeping quatters and of the general public; ( 4) To cause each dog, cat or other pet animal to be kept under control either by being tied up or confined in a proper enclosure; ( 5) To report to the Building Commissioner all cases of communicable disease or suspected cases of communicable disease affecting any inmate of the apartment house, rooming house, dormitory or accessory sleeping quarter ; 713.18 Rubbish Storaqe Facilities Every Multi-family dwelling and dwelling unit shall be supplied with approved containers and coverage for storage of rubbish and the owner, operator , or agent in control of such Multi-family dwelling shall be responsible for the removal of such rubbish. 713.19 Penalties Any person , firm, corporation, or the agents, or managers, who violate any section of Chapter 713 shall be fined not less than 'I?venty-five ($25.00 ) Dollars mor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for the first offense. For each subsequent offense, such person shall be fined not less than One Hundred (4100.00 ) Dollars nor more than Five Hundred ($500.00 ) Dollars, or impr€soned not more than six ( 6) months, or both. Each day's violation shall be deemed a spparate offense. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a copy of this Ordinance to the Building Commissioner. Section 3. That any ordinance or parts of ordinances , or resolutinns or parts of resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 4. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force according to the provisions of Article IV. Section 12 of the City of North Olmsted. PASSED: a jq6q ATTEST: ?
