<br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 68-157 <br />BY ? ?? t /.1 ? <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR <br />THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AND SETTING FORTH THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID EMPLOYEES <br />THEREOF, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 68-15 and DECLAR- <br />ING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council wished to establish an Organizational Chart <br />setting forth the number of employees within the Engineering Department of the <br />City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, Council wished to set forthe the remuneration of all <br />employees in the Engineering Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the complement of the North Olmsted Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: <br />City Engineer <br />Acting City Engineer <br />Assistant Engineer <br />Party Chief <br />Chief Inspector <br />Inspectors (2) <br />Draftsmen <br />Engineering Aids (2) <br />Secretary <br />Clerk <br />Consultants <br />Part-Time Inspectors (as needed) <br />Swnmer Help (as needed) <br />Section 2. That retroactive to January 1, 1968, the remuneration of <br />employees in the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as <br />follows: <br />City Engineer $12,000.00 to $13,500.00 Annually <br />Acting City Engineer $10,000.00 to $13,000.00 Annually <br />Assistant Engineer $4.35 to $5.50 per hour <br />Party Chief $3.60 to $4.00 per hour <br />Chief Inspector $3.75 to $4.00 per hour <br />Inspectors $3.50 to $3.75 per hour <br />Draftsmen $3.25 to $3.60 per hour <br />Engineering Aids $2.75 to $3.75 per hour <br />Secretary $4,000.00 to $4,800.00 Annually <br />Clerk? $3,000.00 to $3,800 Annual y <br />`?? j? q?_d 3,00 ?0 3 7 <br />which salaries s a e pay 1?"'by he Director of /FinaIS7 n ce s e m i m nqh l y?'- <br />A. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees and retroactive <br />to September 1, 1968 that all full time employees of the Engineering Department <br />having completed five years of full time continuous service as employees of said <br />department shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary thereafter <br />until completion of the tenth year of continuous full time service, after which <br />such employees shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until the <br />1 c mpletion of the fifteenth year of continuous full time service, and thereafter <br />% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth year <br />of continuous full time service and during each year of full time service there- <br />after they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />/Z 6I -7,1,
