BY - W f AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 68-15, ENACTED FEBRUARY 6, 1968, AN ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AND SETTING FORTH THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID EMPLOYEES THEREOF, " AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, Council wishe$ to establish an Organizational Chart setting forth the number of employees within the Engineering Department of the City of North Olmsted, and WHEREAS, Council wisheS to set forth the remuneration of all employees in the engineering department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That the complement of the North Olmsted Engineerinq Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer Assistant Engineer Party Chief Chief Inspector Inspector Draft s men Engineering Aids ( 2 ) Secretary Clerk Consultants In addition to the above employees the Engineering Department shall also consist of the following temporary employees who are employed only for the purpose of working on Phase No. 4 of the North Olmsted Sewer Program Resident Engineer Inspectors ( 4 ) Engineers Aide ( 1 ) Section 2: That retroactive to january 1, 1968, the remuneration of employees in the Engineerinq Department of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: City Engineer $12, 000. 00 to $13, 500. 00 Annually Assistant Engineer $ 4.35 to $ 5.5i0 per hour Party Chief $ 3.60 to $ 4.00 per hour Chief Inspector $ 3.75 to $ 4.00 per hour Inspectors $ 3.50 to $ 3.75 per hour Draftsmen $ 3.25 to $ 3.60 per hour Engineering Aids $ 2.75 to $ 3.75) per hour Secretary $4, 000. 00:. to $4, 800. 00 Annually Clerk $3,000.00 to $3,800.00 Annually
