l .r CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 69- 7,0 BY )2,ep - LJ Ta f' AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AN ORGANIZATIONAL CHART FOR THE ADMINISTRATION TO BE HEADED BY THE MAYOR AS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLE III, SECTION I THROUGH 5, INCLUSIVE, OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND IN ADDITION THERETO, PROVIDING POSITIONS FOR EMPLOYEES OF THIS DEPARTMENT, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 68-155, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted in Article III, Section I through 5,inclusive, provided that the administrative functions of the City shall be headed by the Mayor ; and WHEREAS, Council has adopted Organizational Charts for all employees in the City of North Olmsted for the purpose of identification as to duties performed and remuneration received ; and WHEREAS, the Administration employs certain personnel and assistants to carry out the responsibilities of the Administration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio : Section 1. That the Administration of the City of North Olmsted as provided for in Article III, Section I thrvugh 5, inclusive, of the Charter of the City of North Olmsted is to be headed by the Mayor, and shall con- sist of the Mayor, one ( 1) Director of Public Service, one ( 1) Administrative Assistant, one ( 1) Building Commissioner, one ( 1) Police Chief, one ( 1) Fire Chief, one ( 1) Secretary to the Mayor, one ( 1) Secretary to the Director of Public Service and other part-time clerical help as determined by the Mayor. Section 2. That retroactive to,Ia.ciuary_; 1, 1969, the remuneration of the employees in the Administration of the City of North Olmsted shall be as follows: Mayor Director of Public Service Administrative Assistant Secretary to the Mayor Secretary to the Director of Public Service Clerical and Secretarial help $13, 000. 00 Annually $8, 000. 00 to $12, 000.L00 Annually $9, 000. 00 to $11, 000. 00 Annually $4,800.00 to $6,000.00 Annually $4 , 600 . 00 to $5 , 800 . 00 Annually $1. 35 to $2.50 per hour which salaries shall be •payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. Section 3. The secretarial or clerical help of the Administration Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00 . Ths longevity increment shall be payable over and above any annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by the City of North Olmsted.
