CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 69- c24 PAGE 2 <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Administration <br />Department shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to <br />work by the Mayor in emergencies, and shall receive regular rate of pay, <br />New Year's Day ; Memorial Day ; Indepe ndence Day ; Labor Day ; Thanks- <br />giving Day and Christmas Day. <br />Section S. That the purpose of this ordinance is to establish the <br />Administration Department and salaries to be paid, which shall not in any <br />way be construed as limiting the authority of the Mayor of the City of North <br />Olmsted as established by the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 6. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy of this ordinance to the Finance Director immediately upon its passage. <br />Section 7. That all ordinances or resolutions , or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolution, and especially Ordinance No. 68-155, inconsistent <br />with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective <br />date of this ordinance. <br />Section 8. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that it is necessary to establish <br />the pay scale of the Administration Department for the benefit of the Finance <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted.
