. <br />op ? <br />*k, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 69-,5`:tj <br />PAGE 2 <br />( b) No nonresident of Ohio shall drive any motor vehicle upon <br />a street or highway of this Municipality unless he has in <br />his possession a valid and current operator's or chauffeur's <br />license issued to him by another jurisdiction reconginzed by <br />the State of Ohio. <br />No nonresident of Ohio, upon demand of any police officer <br />at any time or-place, shall fail to prove lawful possession or <br />his right to operate such motor vehicle, or fail to establish <br />proper identity. ( ORC 4507.04 ) <br />( c 1 No person shall operate any motor vehicle in violation of <br />any restriction imposed on his operator's or chauffeur's <br />license by the Ohio Registrar of Motor Vehi-cles pursuant <br />to Ohio ( R. C. 4507.I4. ) <br />( d) No person shall receive an Ohio operator's or chauffeur's <br />license unless and until he surrenders to the Registrar all <br />valid licenses in his possession issued to him by another <br />jurisdiction recognized by tle State of Ohio. <br />No person shall be permitted to have in his possession more <br />than one valid license at any time. ( ORC 4507.02 ) <br />Section 2. That any ordinance or parts of ordinances, or resolutions <br />or parts of resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance, and <br />especially Ordinance No. 65-300, enacted December 21, 1965 , are hereby re- <br />pealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency messure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, safety, health and welfare by virtue of the fact that Section 335.01 <br />prior to this amendment is in conflict with the provisions of the state Statutes, <br />WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED:)910-4 al /96q <br />ATTEST: <br />011 n ?V?'?? <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council <br />Francis J.
