. .. ? ? , .,. <br />« <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. . 69-57 <br />BY WEST <br />Revised <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHIN'G THE ORGANIZATIONAL <br />CHART OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SETTING FORTH THE <br />COMPLEMENT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AIVD ESTABLIS- <br />ING THE SALARIES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DE- <br />PARTMENT WHILE ON DUTY FOR THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND REPEALING ORDIIVANCE NO. 68-136, <br />AND DECLARiNG AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Safety Committee of Council has advise Council <br />the need for additional Firemen to adequately serve the City of North Olmsted ; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee of Council has advised Council <br />that it is necessary to increase the salaries and compensations of the members <br />of the Fire Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Organizational Chart for the Fire Department of <br />the City of North Olmsted ( Chapter 141, Section 141.02, " Composition and <br />Classifications " of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinance ) shall read as <br />follows: <br />A. The Organizational Chart for the Fire Department and the ! <br />personnel set forth in the Organizational Chart shall consist of theChief <br />of Fire who shall be in charge of the entire Fire Department. <br />B. The Fire Chief shall also be in charge of the General Duty <br />Uniform Roster, which shall consist of one ( 1) Assistant Fire Chief <br />( Fire Prevention Bureau ) ; four ( 4) Lieutenants ; twenty-five ( 25 ) Firemen. <br />C. The Fire Department as constituted herein shall be classified by <br />the Director of Safety as required by law. <br />Section 2. That effective April l, 1969, and henceforth, the base <br />salaries of the members of the Fire Department are hereby fixed and determined <br />to be as follows: <br />Fire Chief <br />Assistant Fire Chief <br />( Fire Prevention Bureau ) <br />Fire Lieutenant <br />Firemen for First Year <br />Firemen for Second Year <br />Firemen after Second Year <br />Part-time Firemen <br />Full time Firemen working <br />for the City of North Olmsted <br />during off duty hours <br />$11, 800. 00 Annually <br />$10, 670.00 Annually <br />$9, 650.00 Annually <br />$7,488.00 Annually <br />$8,000.00 Annually <br />$9,000.00 Annually <br />$ 1.75 per hour <br />$ 3. 20 per hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly.
