CITY OF N ORTH OLNLS TED ORDINANCE NO. 69-? 7 PAGE 2 <br />A. Full time employees of the Fire Department having completed five <br />years of full time continuous service as employees of said department shall be <br />paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of <br />the tenth year of continuous full time service, after which such employee shall <br />receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until the completion of the <br />15th year of continuous full time service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual <br />salary until after the completion of the 20th year of continuous full time service, <br />and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of <br />their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />B. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part- <br />titne services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity <br />increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee <br />of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees <br />in the Safety Department. <br />C. In addition to the regular base salary plus increments and other <br />wages increases, all regular employees of the Fire Department, including <br />officers shall on their original appointment and during the first aalendar year <br />during their appointment receive $300.00 clothing allowance, and shall during <br />each calendar year thereafter receive a clothingallowance of $150.00 to be <br />determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Fire Chief of the <br />Department . <br />D. For each full time member of the Fire Department -, the City <br />of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per <br />month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual <br />premium of said members of the Fire Department , as established by Contract <br />52YS effective the 22nd of May, 1965. <br />Section 3. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resuluti,ons inconsistent herewith to the provisions of <br />this ordinance,and especially Ordinance No. 68-134, are hereby repealed <br />withrthe effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 4. That the Clerk ofCouncil be and she is hereby directed <br />to mail a copy of this Ordinance to the Finance Department and Fire Chief. <br />Section 5.
