A. Any of the above, with the exception of the school guards and auxiliary police, shall while on duty as plain clothes detectives be paid additional compensation at the rate of $300.00 annually for all time spent as plain clothes detectives or as Juvenile Officer. B. Full time employees of the Police Department having completed five years of full time continuous service as employees of said department shall be paid an ddditional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until completion of the tenth year of full time continuous service, after which such employees shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until the completion of the 15th year of full time continuous service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the conpletion of the 20th year of full time continuous service, and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. C. The Secretarial or Clerical help of the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive as a longevity increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity ;increment shall be payable over and above any, annual salary or hourly salary paid to said secretary or clerical help and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every year said secretary or clerical help has been con- tinually employed by the City of North Olmsted. D. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth , no crediit shall be given for part- time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in the Safety Department. E. In addition to the regular base salary plus increments and other wage increases, all regular employees of the Police Department, including officers shall on their original appointment and during the first calendar year during their appointment receive $300.00 clothing allowance and shall during each calendar year thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of $200. 00 to be determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department. F. For each full time member of the Police Department ( excluding Auxilary Police and School Guards ) the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount equal to a single person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premiums of said members of the Police Force, as established by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd of May, 1965. Section 3. That employees of the Police Department of the City of North Olmsted be reimbursed, not to exceed $3.00 per day, for per diem ex- penses while in attendance at the Police training school established by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners at Wester Reserve University, which school is for a two week period vvith 10 days class a.Etendance.
