(d) No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall knowingly show or give false information concerning his name, age or other identification for the purpose of purchasing or otherwise ob- taining cigarettes or tobacco products in any place in this municipality where cigarettes or tobacco products are sold under a permit issued by Cuyahoga County, Ohio. (e) No person shall knowingly furnish any false information as to the name, age or other iden- tification of any person under eighteen (18) years of age for tlie purpose of obtaining or with the intent to obtain, cigarettes or tobacco products for a person under eighteen (18) years of age, by purchase or as a gift. 557.03 POSTING CIGARETTE AGE WARNING SIGNS (a) Every place in the municipality where cigarettes or tobacco products are sold, whether by person or by vending machine, under a license issued by the county, shall display at all times, in a prominent place on the premises thereof, or in a prominent place of such cigarette vending machine, a printed card which shall be furnished by the municipality and which shall read sub- stantially as follows: WARNTNG T0 PERSONS UNDER AGE If you are under t.e age o 18: Un er t e Or inances o t e City of North Olmsted, if you order, pay for, share the cost of, or attempt to purchase any cigarettes or tobacco product, or furnish false informa- tion as to name, age, or other identification, you are subject to a fine up to Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). (_b) No person being the holder of a licen,se or the servant or agent of a license to sell cigarettes issued by Cuyahoga County, Ohio, shall fail to comply witfi this section. 557.04 RESPONSIBILI:TY: OWNER, LESSEE, AGENTS OR EMPLOYEE (a) The owner of a building or premises and the person renting or leasing them, or the owner or lessor of any cigarette vending machine or his agent or employee who knowingly allows or permits cigarettes or tobacco products to be sold therein or therefrom in violation of Chapter 555 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North 0lmsted is liable under Section 555.99 of this section. 557.05 IMMUNITY OF LICENSE HOLDER, AGENT OR EMPLOYEE No license holder, his agent or employee may be found guilty of violation of any section of Ordinance 555 where age is an element of the offense, if any court determines that the person buying, at the time of so doing, exhibited to the license holder, his agent or employee, an operator's or chauffer's license showing that such person was th.en of legal age ta buy cigarettes or tobacco products;
