s <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLDISTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81- 24 <br />PAGE 2. <br />of the State of Ohio unless otherwise provided by this Charter, or <br />by ordinance of the Council, and he shall perform such other duties <br />as the Mayor may impose upon him consistent with his office. <br />SECTION 2: That if such amendment is approved by a majority <br />of the electors voting thereon at such election, it shall become <br />effective from and after the time of its approval by the electors. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized <br />and directed cause a copy of the proposed Charter amendment to <br />be published in such manner as may be authorized by law. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of this Council be and she is <br />hereby authoriz e? and directed to forward a certified copy of this <br />Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 5: That the Board of Elections is hereby requested <br />to cause appropriate notice of such election to be duly given in <br />accordance with law. <br />SECTION 6: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of <br />the public peace, propexty, health and safety of the City and for <br />the further reason that this Ordinance must be immediately effective <br />in order to permit necessary arrangements to be made in sufficient <br />time for said election; where£ore, this Ordinance shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />L RENCE CAMPBELL, CLERK OF COUNCIL DEWEY H.
