Section 4: To be entitled to holiday pay, employees must <br />work the last regular work day before and the first regular work <br />day after the holiday unless excused by the City. If any of the <br />above holidays fall on a Saturday or a Sunday, either the <br />previous Friday or the following Monday shall be observed as the <br />holiday. <br />. ARTICLE 17 - CALL-IN PAY <br />Section 1. If recreation maintenance personnel receive <br />notification of call-in during their previous shift, and the <br />overtime work is continuous with scheduled work hours, the <br />employee shall receive pay at the applicable rate only for actual <br />overtime hours worked. If, however, an employee does not receive <br />prior notification of call-in during his previous shift, he shall <br />receive a minimum of two (2) hours' work or two (2) hours' pay. <br />ARTICLE 18 - NEW AND CHANGED JOBS <br />Section 1. The parties agree that the jobs presently <br />included in the bargaining unit are such that the typical office <br />and maintenance equipment is currently being utilized. It is not <br />contemplated that there will be any substantial changes in the <br />method of operations, tools or equipment. However, there may be <br />new positions created as support to secretarial, clerical and <br />management positions in the area of computer technology requiring <br />programming skills or the like. If any such position is <br />established the City shall describe the content of the job and <br />shall establish a pay structure, the job content, etc., of the <br />job. <br />- 23 - <br />
