CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 89-20 PAGE SIX SECTION 14: That the Foremen listed in Sections 6 and 7 hereof will e pai time and one-half of their straight time rates of pay for fours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. Double time shall be paid to said employees for Sundays and Holidays provided they have worked at least forty (40) hours during the work week. SECTION 15: That all full-time adminsitrative and legislative personnel fisted in the Ordinance having completed (5) five years of full- time continuous service as employees of said department shall be paid an additional four percent (40) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (10th) year of full-time continuous service after which such employee shall receive five percent (50) of their base annual salary; thereafter until the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full-time continuous service, such employee shall receive six percent (6%) of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service, and during each year of full-time service thereafter, they shall receive seven percent (7o) of their base annual salary as longevity in- crements. SECTION 16: That all full-ti.me adminsitrative and legislative personne fisted within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, unless required to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies and shall receive their regular rate of pay; New Year's Day; President's Day; one-half (2) day on Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day: one-half (Z) day on Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and a floating holiday. SECTION 17: That all full-time administrative and legislative personne listed within this Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the vacation ordinance adopted by Council. SECTION 18: That all ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolution In conflict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 19: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further, provided it received the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval of the Mayor.
