1 , .?,. <br />- .? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83-133 <br />PAGE 2 <br />? <br />? <br />SECTION 3: That all full-time non-uniform police personnel, <br />having completed five (5) years of fu11-time continuous service as <br />employees of said department shall be paid an additional four percent <br />(4%) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the <br />tenth (lOth) year of full-time continuous service, after which such <br />employee shall receive five percent (5%) of their base annual salary; <br />thereafter until the completion og their fifteenth (15th) year of full- <br />time continuous service, such employee shall receive six percent (6%) <br />of their base annual salary until after the completion of their <br />twentieth (20th) year of full--time continuous service and during each <br />year offull-time service thereafter, they shall receive seven percent <br />(7%) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 4; That a11 full-time non-uniform police personnel <br />listed in this Ordinance Sna1i receive the following holidays off unless <br />required to work by their supervisor, or the Mayor, in emergencies, and <br />shall receive regular rate of pay: New Year's Day, President's Day, <br />Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Good Friday, <br />Christmas Day, the ecnployee's birthday, and a floating holiday. <br />SECTION 5: That all full-time <br />in this Ordinance shall be entitled <br />with City Ordinance No. 83-31. <br />non-uniform police personnel listed <br />to an annual vacation in accordance <br />SECTION 6: That fihis Ordinance hereby repeals any and all Ordinances <br />or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions inconsistent herewith. <br />SECTION 7; That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary for continuity of services of the safety forces <br />of the City, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it sha11 take effect and <br />be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />P A S S E D; <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE E.
