<br />CITX OF NORTH OLMS J <br />ORDINANCE NO. 43 - 100 <br />PAGE TWO <br />SECTION 3: That all full-time non-umi£orm police nersonnel, <br />having com-)leted five (5) years of full-time continuous service as <br />employees of said department shall be paid an additional four -oercent <br />(40) of tlieir base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the <br />tenth (lOth) year of full-time continuous service, after which such <br />employee shall receive five percent (So) of their base annual salary; <br />thereafter until the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of fu11- <br />time continuous service, such employee shall receive six percent (60) <br />of their base annual salary until after the completion of their <br />twentieth (20th) year of full-time continuous service and during each <br />year of full time service therea_fter, thev shall receive seven percent <br />(7%) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTI0N 4: That all full-time non-uniform nolice nersonnel <br />listed in this Ordinance shall receive the follotiving holidays off unless <br />required to work by their supervisor, or the Mayor, in emeraencies, and <br />shall receive regular rate of pay: New Year's Day, president's Day, <br />Memorial Day, Independence Dav, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Good Friday, <br />Christmas Day, the em-oloyee's birthday, and a floating holiday. <br />SECTION 5: That all full-time non-uniform -oolice nersonnel listed <br />in this Or inance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance <br />with City Ordinance No. 83-31. <br />SECTION 6: That this Ordinance herehy reneals any and a11 ordin- <br />ances or -narts of ordinances or resolutions inconsistent hPret.,ritt, <br />SECTION 7: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is <br />immediately necessary for continuity of services of the safety forces <br />of the City, and further -provided it receives tne affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and <br />be in force immediately unon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : <br />ATTEST: <br />> <br />First reading: ? a 3 <br />Second reading:Third reading: <br />LORENCE E.
