CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83-34 <br />BY: Mr. McKa <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE OHIO <br />DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted is the recipient of a <br />grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Office of <br />Litter Control, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted must enter into an agree- <br />ment with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Office of <br />Litter Control, for the period from April 1, 1983, through <br />December 31, 1983, in compliance with the terms and conditions <br />of the grant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCiL OF TI-IE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />enter into an agreement, a copy of which is attachecl hereto and <br />marked Exhibit "A°°; with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, <br />Office of Litter Control, to comply with the terms and conditions <br />through which grant funds are to be received, from April l, 1983 <br />through December 31, 1983. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further rea- <br />son that it is immediately necessary so that program implementa- <br />tion may begin by April 1, as stipulated under the terms and con- <br />ditions of the grant, and further provided it receives the affir- <br />mative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br />PassED: ? lsr.7. ?9?3 <br />ATTE ST : ? • IOOQ A_ <br />lorence E.
