. . ? ? <br />S INGLE PROJECT SUBS IDY AC?tEIIMENT <br />LITI'F3Z QONIROL pRpGRAM <br />OHIO DEPAR7M= OF iVii'T[JRAL RESOURCES <br />This agreement made and entered into by and between the Director of the <br />Department ot Natural Resources, hereinafter referred to as the <br />DEPAR'RENI", and the CITY OF NORTH OIMSTID, hereina.fter referred to as the <br />GREV,Ti'EF , <br />WI174F SSETf 1 Ti-iAT : <br />tAIEZF'?AS, the G?,AI`TI'EE as authorized under Section 1502 . 07 (B) of the Ohio <br />Revised Code has macie application to the DEPARIK _ for a grant to fund <br />the implementation of a local litter control program as outlined in <br />clause 13 of this AGRERIIIU; and, <br />? <br />WfiIIZEAS, the GRA]V`I'EE has been authorized by resolution of its governing <br />bociy to enter into agreement with the DFjPAR'1MEVT to administer said grant <br />(Attachment "C"); and, <br />IMFREAS the Q2AIVTEE ha.s been certified by the Litter Control and Recycling <br />Advisory Council and approved by the DII'AR'IMIIVT as an eligible applicant <br />pursuant to Section 1502.04 of the Ohio Revised Code; and, <br />WEIE(ZF.AS , the DI;PARTT'IIIVT, under the provisions of Section 1502.05 of the <br />Otiio Revised Cade, may provide grants to certified eligible applicants for <br />implementing local litter control programs; and, <br />Wf?ZF?1S, litter control program grant funds in the amount of $25,000 ha.ve <br />been encumbered by Contract Encumbrance Record Number <br />and are so certifie(i by the Director of Aciministrative Services on <br />1983. Obligations of the state are sub;ect to the <br />provisions of Section 131.17 of the Ohio Revisecl Code. <br />NOW L. E RE, in consideration of the mutua.l covenants by and between the <br />parties hereto, the parties agree as follows: <br />l. That the DEPAR'If?VMIIV'T hereby awards to the GRANTEE for the purpose of <br />implementing a local litter control project, a grant not to exceeci <br />$25,000 being further broken down as specified in the Approved Detailed <br />Budget hereby made a part of this AGftEIIvHW and included as AttacYunent "Bl'.
