CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83-76 <br />PAGE 2 <br />B. The Department of Human Resources shall have included <br />therein a Division of Aging, which shall be administered by an <br />Administrator who shall be responsible for supervising and <br />coordinating all activities dealing with or relating to the <br />social aspects of aging. Said Administrator shall be appointed <br />by the Mayor and shall be answerable to the Mayor. He shall <br />likewise perform such other duties consistent with his office <br />and as may be required by ordinance of Council or as directed <br />by the Mayor. <br />SECTION 2: That if such amendment is approved by a <br />majority o t e electors voting thereon at such election, it <br />shall become effective from and after the time of its approval <br />by the electors. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized <br />and directe to cause a copy of the proposed Charter amendment <br />to be published in such manner as may be authorized by law. <br />SECTION 4; That the Clerk of this Council be and she is <br />hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of <br />this Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 5: That the Board of Elections is hereby requested <br />to cause appropriate notice of such election to be duly given in <br />accordance with law. <br />SECTION 6: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation <br />of the public peace, property, health and safety of the City and <br />for the further reason thatthis Ordinance must be immediately <br />effective in order to permit necessary arrangements to be made in <br />sufficient time for said election; wherefore, this Ordinance shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE CAMPBFLL, CLERK OF COUNCIL <br />APPROVED: <br />ROBERT W.
