CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 83-76 PAGE 2 B. The Department of Human Resources shall have included therein a Division of Aging, which shall be administered by an Administrator who shall be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities dealing with or relating to the social aspects of aging. Said Administrator shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall be answerable to the Mayor. He shall likewise perform such other duties consistent with his office and as may be required by ordinance of Council or as directed by the Mayor. SECTION 2: That if such amendment is approved by a majority o t e electors voting thereon at such election, it shall become effective from and after the time of its approval by the electors. SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directe to cause a copy of the proposed Charter amendment to be published in such manner as may be authorized by law. SECTION 4; That the Clerk of this Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. SECTION 5: That the Board of Elections is hereby requested to cause appropriate notice of such election to be duly given in accordance with law. SECTION 6: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety of the City and for the further reason thatthis Ordinance must be immediately effective in order to permit necessary arrangements to be made in sufficient time for said election; wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
