CITY QF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83-77 <br />PAGE 2 <br />street a minimum of three £eet (31) wider on each side <br />of the driveway. Wire mesh, 6" x 6", No. 10 minimum <br />for residential and 6" x 6", No. 4 for commercial, <br />shall be provided and used. <br />(6) Trees shall be planted according to the 1!4aster <br />Tree Plan specified by the Directar o£ Public Service <br />on file at North Olmsted City Hall, and <br />(7) The City Engineer has the authority to waive or <br />increase the above improvement requirements when <br />authorized by the Council of North Olmsted. <br />All construction work reQuired by the developer shall <br />be done in the presence of a City Inspector, under <br />the supervision of the City Engineer." <br />Be and the same is hereby amended, and as amended, shall read <br />as follows: <br />"(D) Paving <br />(1) All streets shall be paved with eight inch (811) <br />reinforced concrete pavement; shall have barrier curbs; <br />sha11 have a minimum width of 28 feet (281) measured <br />from back o£ curb to back of curb; shall be constructed <br />in accordance with the current State of Ohio, Departrrent <br />of Transportation, construction and material specifica- <br />tions, Item 451 reinforced Portland cement concrete <br />pavement. <br />(2) Areas other than residential: Nine inch (9") <br />reinforced concrete pavement with barrier curbs, <br />and shall have a minimum width of 28 feet (2$') <br />measured from the inside face to inside face of curbs. <br />(3) For all areas regardless of the type of zoning <br />where the proposed pavement width from back of curb <br />to back of curb exceeds thirty-two feet (321), the <br />minimum lane width shall be eleven (111) feet except <br />that the Council of the City of Nortli Olmsted may <br />require wider lane widths to conform to the volume <br />and type of traffic. <br />(4) Sidewalks. Concrete walks shall be five feet <br />(5') wide, four inches (4") thick except at <br />driveways where the thickness shall be six inches (6"). <br />Wire mesh, 6" x 6", No. 10 minimum, shall be provided <br />and used throughout the entire length of the sidewalk. <br />(S) Driveway aprons shall have a minimum thickness of <br />six inches (6") for residential and eight inches <br />(8") for commercial and shall be flared tnwaxd the <br />street a minimum of three feet (31) wider on each <br />side of the driveway. Wire mesh, 6" x 6", No. 10 <br />minimum for residential and 6" x 6", No. 4 for <br />commercial, shall be provided and used.
