<br />...?:? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 83 - 81 <br />BY: MAYOR SWIETYNIOWSKI <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART <br />AND COMPOSITION OF THF FIRE DEPARTMENT: AS WELL .AS <br />SALARIES AND VARTOUS BENEFITS FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF <br />THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND ADOPTING VARIOUS RULES AND <br />REGULATIONS, AND ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE RIGHTS, AND <br />DECLA-RING AN EMERGENCY, AS Al`4ENDED. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLPTSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Organizational Chart of the Fire Department of the City <br />of North Olmsted, Chapter 141, Section 141.02, entitled "Compositions and Classi- <br />fication" of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances shall read as follows: <br />A. That the Organizational Chart for the Fire Department and the personnel <br />set forth in the Organizational Chart shall consist of the Chief of Fire who shall <br />be in charge of the entire Fire Department. <br />B. The Fire Chief shall also be in charge of the General Duty Uniform Roster, <br />which shall consist of: One (1) Assistant Fire Chief; Four (4) Captains; Six (6) <br />Lieutenants; and 'Itaenty-Seven (27) Firemen. <br />C. The Fire Department as constituted herein shall be classified by the <br />Director of Safety, as required by law. <br />SECTION 2: That Council does hereby establish salaries for the various members <br />of the Fire Department covering the remainder of 1983 and the same shall be as follows: <br />A. Effective July 4, 1983, through December 31, 1983, the various salaries <br />shall be fixed as follows: <br />Fire Chief <br />Assistant Fire Chief <br />Captains <br />Fire Lieutenants <br />Fireman after Second Year <br />Firema.n - Second Year <br />Fireman - First Year <br />Full Time Fireman working for the <br />City during off-duty hours <br />$35,241.00 annually <br />31,187.00 annually <br />28,353.00 annually <br />25,776.00 annually <br />23,432.00 annually <br />21,436.00 annually <br />17,186.00 annual.ly <br />$4.25 to $6.75 per hour <br />B. Effective January l, 1984, the various salaries shall be fixed as follows: <br />Fire Chief <br />Assistant Fire Chief <br />Captains <br />Fire Lieutenants <br />Fireman after Second Year <br />Fireman - Second Year <br />Fireman - First Year <br />Full Time Fireman working for the <br />City during off-duty hours <br />$37,534.00 annually <br />33,216.00 annually <br />30,196.00 annually <br />27,451.00 annually <br />24,955.00 annually <br />22,829.00 annually <br />18,303.00 annually <br />$4.25 to $6.75 per hour
