CITY UF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDIiVANCE N0. 84 - 17 <br />PAGE 5 <br />alarm panel in the North Olnsted Police Department. This fee <br />sha11 be invoiced for the first day of the first month <br />following the issuance of the permit and the first day of <br />each month thereafter as long as the perrnit is in effect. No <br />part of this fee is refundable. Any charges which remain <br />unpaid thirty (30) days after date of invoice shall result in <br />cancellation of the permit. <br />(e) All permits for all alarms systems for all subscribers <br />and users are non-refundable. <br />(f) lhe subscriber or user of any alarm systen which is in <br />operation without a perrnit will have thirty (30) days from <br />the date of the first real or false alarm answered by the <br />North Olmsted Police Department to obatin a permit, upon <br />notification by tlie City of North Olrnsted of the permit <br />requirement. <br />(g) Continued operation of any alarrn system beyond the <br />thirty (30) days without a permit and after notification is <br />in violation of this Ordinance. <br />559.09 REVOCATION OF PERMITS <br />(a) Failure to comply Wltrl any provision of this Ordinance <br />may result in revocation of the subscriber's or user's <br />permit. <br />(b) Grounds for revocation rnay be, Uut are not limited to: <br />(1) Failure to properly maintain an installation. <br />(2) When the number of false alarms for an installation <br />equals ten (10) in any twelve (12) month period. <br />(c) The Chief of Police shall serve written notice upon the <br />permit holder of intent to revoke the permit. Such notice <br />shall be given not less than seven (7) days prior to <br />revocation. Such notice shall state the right of the permit <br />holder to appeal to the Safety Director within fourteen (14) <br />days from the date of the notice. <br />(d) If an appeal is filed in writing within fourteen (14) <br />days, the Safety Director shall hold a hearinb on the matter <br />and shall rerider a decision on the basis of the facts <br />presented. In the event no appeal is filed, the Chief or <br />Police shall transmit all pertinent information to the Safety <br />Director who shall cancel the permit. <br />(e) The permit holder may have an attorney present at the <br />hearing if so desired. The administrative remedies must be <br />exhausted before judical procedures can begin. <br />(f) Upon revocation of the permit, the user or subscriber <br />has twenty (20) days to disconnect the alarrn system or show
