w <br />.. j ' r. <br />IN THE CITY OF NURTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE td0. 84- 32 <br />BY: RONALD TALLON <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANIENDMENT OF <br />THE ZONE MAP OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />WHICH ZONE MAP IS PART OF THE ZONING CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, BY CHANGING THE <br />PREMISES HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED FROM CLASS B <br />HIGH-RISE BUSINESS OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL <br />DISTRICT TO GENERAL RETAIL BUSINESS DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the zoning that applies to the below <br />described real property is improper under the conditions <br />presently existing and inadequate for the development and use of <br />this land; and <br />6JHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Planning <br />Commission o£ this City, on the 12th day of March, 1984, <br />recommended approval of the change of the district herein <br />s p e c i f i e d : <br />NOW, THEREFORE, f3E IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLNISTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That after submission of this ordinance to the <br />Planning Commission of this City for its approval, and after a <br />public hearing he.reon, notice of Tahich has been given pursuaiit to <br />Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter of this City, entitled <br />"The Council-Enactment of Zoning Ordinances and Regulatioris, <br />Notice , and after its passage pursuant to the Charter of this <br />City and its approval by the Mayor of this City of North Olmsted, <br />the Zone Map of North Olmsted is hereby amended, and as amended <br />be and the same is hereby revised by changing the zoning of the <br />following described parcel of land from Class B High-Rise <br />Business Office and Professional District to General Retail <br />Business Distr-ict. <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County <br />of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and known as <br />being part of Original Dover Township Lot No. <br />7, and bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning in the centerline of Lorain Road (80 <br />feet wide) at the Northwest corner of a 3 acre <br />parcel conveyed to Hattie F. Honecker by deed <br />recorded in Volume 2298, Page 572 of Cuyahoga <br />County Deed Records, said point being 464.99 <br />feet westerly from an iron pin monument at the <br />intersection of the centerlines of Bailey Road <br />and Lorain Road measured along the centerline <br />of Lorain P.oad, and said point being the <br />principal place of beginning of the following <br />described parcel: <br />Thence South 60° 31' OU" West, along the <br />centerline of Lorain Road, 38.66 feet to an <br />iron pin monument at an angle point therein; <br />Thence South 65° 16' 00" West, continuing <br />along said centerline, 137.32 feet to a point;
