CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 84- 58 <br />PAGE 2 <br />WHEREAS, future federal funds will be granted certified <br />Local Governments for which a comprehensive community survey is a <br />pre-requisite for acceptance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the North Olmsted Landmarks Commission be <br />and is hereby authorized to make application to the Ohio Historic <br />Preservation Office for matching grant funds for purposes of <br />completion of a comprehensive survey and inventory of local <br />historic pre-1920 buildings and to include recommendations to the <br />Ohio Historic Inventory and thusly to the National Register of <br />Historic Places, within the elegibility requirements delineated <br />in the grant application. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason <br />that it is immediately necessary in order to meet the deadline <br />for grant applications of July 13, 1984, and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval of the Mayor, <br />PASSED: [ <br />ATTES <br />a?_ ?, ? <br />rvAMES D.
