. ? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 85 -137 <br />BY: RONALD TALLON <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1151.04, SUBSECTION (K) OF <br />THE ZONING CODE ENTITLED "ACCESSORY USES IN ANY <br />RESIDENCE DISTRICT" OF CHAPER 1151 OF THE ZONING CODE <br />ENTITLED "USE RESTRICTIONS". <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the permitted uses in the Residence <br />District; and <br />WHEREAS, after having reviewed said uses, this Council has determined <br />that the concept of Accessory Uses should be broadly construed so as to <br />permit a number of uses in that district, in such a fashion that the same <br />are blended in accordance with proper design standards, as well as planning <br />standards; and <br />WHEREAS, the present Accessory Uses is not specific, with respect to <br />permitted uses; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to specifically set out the <br />various uses permitted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That Section 1151.04 of the Zoning Code entitled "Accessory <br />Uses in Any Residence District" which now reads: <br />The £ollowing accessory uses and buildings are permitted in any <br />Residence District: <br />(A) Within a dwelling, the office of a surgeon, physician, <br />clergyman, architect, engineer, attorney or other <br />professional person residing in such dwelling and <br />employing not more than one non-resident office or <br />laboratory assistant, provided no sign or other outward <br />evidence, of the occupation that is carried on upon the <br />premises except one complying with Section 1225.01 of <br />the Zoning Code is displayed on the premises. <br />(B) Customary home occupation for gain carried on in the <br />dwelling requiring only customary home equipment,
