CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 85- 104 PAGE 2 All such salaried employees who work in excess of the applicable and appropriate basic work week hours shall be paid for addition to his or her salary, provided that sueh overtime is authorized by the employee's supervisor. In the computation of weekly overtime, recognized holidays shall be considered as time worked to the extent of the normal regular hours called for, except where the holid.ay coincides with the scheduled day off of the employee. E. There is an established operator training program whieh shall not exeeed thirty '(30) days and any operator who is ineluded within said training- program shall be paid eight (8) hours per day at the then established federal minimum hourly wage rate. Regular operators, who are assigned a training operator, shall be paid an additional 40¢ per hour for the time spent with the training operator. • SECTION 2: Longevity Benefits That there is an established longevity benefit for all full time employees; salaried and hourly whieh shall be as follows: A. Salaried Personnel All full time salaried employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line having completed five (5) years of full time eontinuous service as employees of said bus line or having been transferred from some other department by administrative appoint- ment shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base annual salary until they have completed their tenth (10th) year of eontinuous full time service. After completing the tenth (10th) year and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous full time service, they shall be paid five percent (51/6) of their base annual salary. After completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous service and prior to completion of their twentieth (20th) year of continuous service; they shall be paid six percent (6%) of their base annual salary. After completion of their twentieth (20th) year of continuous service they shall be paid seven percent (7%) of their base annual salary. These payments shall be longevity increments and shall be paid and computed by the Finanee Department of the City of North Olmsted. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of longevity inerements as hereinabove set forth, no cr.edit shall be given for part time service, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exelusion for part time service shall not deprive any em- ployee of any other benefits which may be due them for part time service as employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. B. Hourly Personnel The followin$ longevity benefits shall be paid to all full time hourly employees, subject to the approval of the Regional Transit Authority.
