CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 85- 104 <br />PAGE 2 <br />All such salaried employees who work in excess of the <br />applicable and appropriate basic work week hours shall be paid <br />for addition to his or her salary, provided that sueh overtime <br />is authorized by the employee's supervisor. <br />In the computation of weekly overtime, recognized <br />holidays shall be considered as time worked to the extent of <br />the normal regular hours called for, except where the holid.ay <br />coincides with the scheduled day off of the employee. <br />E. There is an established operator training program <br />whieh shall not exeeed thirty '(30) days and any operator who <br />is ineluded within said training- program shall be paid eight <br />(8) hours per day at the then established federal minimum hourly <br />wage rate. <br />Regular operators, who are assigned a training operator, <br />shall be paid an additional 40¢ per hour for the time spent with <br />the training operator. • <br />SECTION 2: Longevity Benefits <br />That there is an established longevity benefit for all full <br />time employees; salaried and hourly whieh shall be as follows: <br />A. Salaried Personnel <br />All full time salaried employees of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line having completed five (5) years of full time <br />eontinuous service as employees of said bus line or having been <br />transferred from some other department by administrative appoint- <br />ment shall be paid an additional four percent (4%) of their base <br />annual salary until they have completed their tenth (10th) year <br />of eontinuous full time service. After completing the tenth <br />(10th) year and prior to completion of their fifteenth (15th) <br />year of continuous full time service, they shall be paid five <br />percent (51/6) of their base annual salary. After completion of <br />their fifteenth (15th) year of continuous service and prior to <br />completion of their twentieth (20th) year of continuous service; <br />they shall be paid six percent (6%) of their base annual salary. <br />After completion of their twentieth (20th) year of continuous <br />service they shall be paid seven percent (7%) of their base <br />annual salary. These payments shall be longevity increments <br />and shall be paid and computed by the Finanee Department of the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />In computing length of service for the purpose of making <br />payments of longevity inerements as hereinabove set forth, no <br />cr.edit shall be given for part time service, but such limitation <br />is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and <br />the exelusion for part time service shall not deprive any em- <br />ployee of any other benefits which may be due them for part time <br />service as employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />B. Hourly Personnel <br />The followin$ longevity benefits shall be paid to all <br />full time hourly employees, subject to the approval of the <br />Regional Transit Authority.
