(b) Hours of vacation which the employee did <br />not work but for which he received pay <br />pursuant to Paragraph 53 of this Memorandum; <br />(c) Hours of jury duty or witness duty which <br />the employee did not work but for which he <br />received pay pursuant to Paragraph 63 of <br />this Memorandum. <br />There shall be no pyramiding of overtime. <br />30. The City shall be the sole judge of the necessity of <br />overtime. All overtime shall be voluntary and an employee <br />shall have the right to refuse an overtime assignment except <br />for emergencies. An "emergency" is defined as any impairment <br />to City services or operations which cannot be delayed until <br />the beginning of the next regular work day. In non-emergency <br />situations, the City may require the least senior qualified <br />employees in the classification who are available, to perform <br />the overtime work. <br />(a) Employees in the Service Department who are <br />assigned to leaf collection will work <br />according to a weekly pick-up schedule which <br />schedule will include pick-up and unloading <br />of leaves, during the period from November ist <br />to December 16th.
