No employee shall be eligible for promotion, or lateral <br />., <br />or downward transfer, under these nrovisions until he has <br />satisfactorily completed the reQuired probationary period. <br />TETiPORARY TRANSFERS <br />52. When an employee is temporarily transferred for one (1) <br />hour or more to another classification, he shall receive the <br />higher of his regular rate or the next higher rate of the job <br />to which he is transferred for the entire period of time of the <br />transfer. A temporary transfer shall not exceed thirty (30) <br />working days except: <br />(a) to fill a vacancy caused by an employee <br />being on sick leave or other approved <br />leave of absence; <br />(b) to provide vacation relief scheduling; <br />(c) to fill an openinc ter?porarily pending <br />permanent filling of such opening; <br />(d) to meet an emergency situation; <br />(e) to meet changes in the work load; and <br />(f) to accommodate the presence of summer <br />employees. <br />veremTnMc <br />53. Regular full-time employees shall be granted vacation <br />? leave with full pay as provided by North Olmsted <br />0-rdinance 83-31 (appendix - B-15).
