Flat and wall 5i s, if attached to, painted on, <br />or integral wit a wall, or attached to the windows <br />or doors of a building occupied by a permitted <br />business or service. <br />2. Groi.md sizns, only one (1) groimd sign is permitted <br />per lot and it must be located on the same lot as <br />the business, businesses, group of businesses, <br />service buildings, parking lots, or other uses to <br />which it directs attention. <br />3. Ma.r uee 5i s, if located on the same lot as the <br />usiness or service building, parking or otfier use <br />to which it directs attention. <br />4. Projecting signs, if projecting from a 6uilding <br />occupiedby a permitted business or service. <br />(C) Pole signs shall not be permitted in any retail tiusiness <br />district. <br />(D) The Building Department is directed to allocate the total <br />allowable sign space for a building among the individual <br />units as follows: maximimi sc{uare footage allowed divided <br />by total building frontage resulting in the square footage <br />allowed per frontage foot of each building tenant. <br />(E) The total surface area (including a11 sides utilized as <br />signs) of all permanent signs for eacfi office, store or <br />service building, parking lot or other land use sfiall <br />not exceed the nwnber of sc{uare feet indicated in the <br />following table:
