Fire Suvpression Personnel Individuals working a 24 hour shift in <br /> a 72 hour period who are not Fire <br /> Prevention Personnel. <br />Grievance A complaint, dispute or controversy <br /> arising from an alleged misapplication <br /> or misinterpretation of the provisions <br /> of this Agreement. <br />Grievance Procedure The procedure outlined in Article VII <br /> at Section 7.3. <br />Immediate Familv In the case of illness, Immediate <br /> Family shall be parents, parents of <br /> spouse, spouse and children of the <br /> Employee •as well as other relatives <br /> living with the Employee if the <br /> Employee is acting as parent or <br /> guardian. In the case of death, <br /> Immediate Family shall be all of the <br /> above and brothers and sisters of the <br /> Employee. <br />Lieutenant An individual having the rank of <br /> Lieutenant in the Fire Department. <br />LiRht Dutv That work assigned to an Employee <br /> during time when an Employee is acting <br /> under a disability or poor health. <br />LonRevity Compensation based on continous loyal <br /> service to the Employer. Longevity <br /> shall be computed on the base salarp <br /> and be: <br /> 4% after 5 years of continuous service <br /> Sx after 10 years of " N <br /> 6% after 15 years uf N N <br /> 7% after 20 years of <br />Normal work Schedule <br />Shall consist of one twenty four <br />consecutive hour shift, followed by <br />forty eight consecutive hours off duty <br />so that no Employee shall average more <br />than fifty-siz hours per week. <br />However, in the case of Fire Prevention <br />Personnel, an Employee shall not work <br />an average of more than forty hours per <br />week. <br />L-
